Synopsis

Set in the Cyberpunk 2077 universe, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is an anime prequel to the video game.

The story takes place a year before the events of the game, and follows David Martinez, a talented but reckless street kid who strives to survive in a dystopia riddled with corruption and cybernetic implants.

Along the way, he meets a group of skilled mercenaries, including Maine, Kiwi, Lucy, and Rebecca, and together they form a crew that takes on dangerous jobs for pay.

As David becomes more involved with the crew, he begins to learn more about the dangers of the Cyberpunk world, and the sacrifices that must be made to survive.
